Bordighera. After months of silence, the talk of the port resumes. A scaled-down project with approximately 120 boat berths was presented on Monday, February 17th, at Palazzo Garnier, by the businesswoman Beatrice Cozzi Parodi and the architect Marcofilippo Alborno to the Ingenito council. According to rumors, the new project involves a reduction of about 50% of the works at sea and on land that were previously included in the renderings submitted to regional offices, which had requested a revision of the project and provided a series of guidelines to follow. With the substantial reduction in works at sea and on land, the designers are aligning with what had always been the goal of the new administration since its establishment: a lower environmental impact and faster, safer implementation of the harbor expansion, which would complement the existing tourist marina without completely altering it. This is the focal point of the project, which thus returns to the original concession of the 1990s, following the expansion envisaged in the 2003 project, which was never realized.
